The goal of Born Drug Free Tennessee is to connect pregnant women who are struggling with a substance use disorder with evidence-based substance use treatment providers so that they may enter prenatal care as early as possible. The earlier a woman enters prenatal care and drug treatment, the better the outcome for both mother and baby. The public service announcements were created by Scripps Radio in Knoxville, TN to bring a general awareness to the public about Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) and inform the target audience about Born Drug Free Tennessee. There are multiple radio transcripts to choose from for your Born Drug Free Tennessee radio message.
How can I do that?
1. Visit the Born Drug Free Tennessee website to see what messages are available.
2. Contact your local radio stations and their affiliates to see if they would be willing to run one of the PSAs.
