Defeating the OPIOID CRISIS through the pledge of each citizen in every community in every county in Tennessee.

Receive Naloxone Training

In 2015 Tennessee had the 10th highest overdose mortality rate in the nation. An overdose is a medical emergency, and time is of the essence. Knowing what to do in a crisis could save your loved ones life. Just like learning CPR training, Naloxone administration training is an important precautionary step.

How can I do that?
1. Visit the Department of Health's website for free online training on how to administer Naloxone
2. Scroll to the"Training for the General Public (individual, group, or classroom; select one)"and read through the "General Public Training" pdf and the Powerpoint presentation below it
3. Take the "Assessment" listed under the "Self-Assessment" section
4. Then fill out and print your "Printable Certificate"
